Course Layout - Hole 5
Blue 475 yds. White 460
yds. Red 420 yds.
Par 5 Handicap 5
The decision on how to play the short 475-yard, par 5 fifth hole will
be made on the tee. The driver brings thick woods on both sides of the fairway into play. However, a draw
down the right side will set the golfer up for a long-iron approach to an elevated green. A lay-up off the tee with a five iron will leave the golfer with
a choice of clubs depending on how close to or how far from the brook he prefers to make his approach shot to the green. Either way, don’t be long, as the
resulting precarious chip may run off the green. Avoiding trouble off the tee will set up birdie and eagle opportunities.
