The
signpost of the sixteenth hole, a short 280-yard par four says, “take straight aim”. What the sign sponsors had in mind was a tee shot straight down the
middle, avoiding the woods on the left and the meteor like crevice on the right. This will leave a chip from just right of the green. Easy birdie, or perhaps a different species of a feathered vertebrate is in the equation.
